Exactly, Jason — you don't know what defamation is. It certainly doesn't defame all people of a certain religion to accuse a government of genocide or other crimes, even if that government claims to exist and to act on behalf of those people.
To the contrary, it's Jason's thinking that's defamatory -- as he inextricably ties all the world's Jews to a political entity (the State of Israel) that many of them condemn, including some who say it shouldn't have even been created in the first place.
