A second Constitutionl Convention? If the problem with our central government is that they are not following - in fact, ignorning - the current written Constitution, how could adding more specifications result in compliance? Isn't this promoting the wrong solution? Reminds me of "gun control" laws - criminals already ignore existing law - so how could adding MORE laws affect them? Rather, it is their obvious intent to reward evil and punish the lawfuL

Term limits? Isn't that why we have limits on the terms of office now? Doesn't the fact that incumbents have so learned to game the system that they stay in office for life convince anyone that just putting more limits will get them out sooner?

Balanced budget amendment? Isn't it obvious after a century of central bank control that their fiat currency they inflate into worthlessness is a ponzi scheme that was set up to collapse, that to stop raising debt will actually collapse the system, that when every debt is paid, the currency will literally disappear? They took our money which had value (gold and silver) and gave us currency which isn't worth the paper on which it's printed - except we continue to believe the confidence game. You do know that will end, right?

Isn't it past time we understood the real problems and fixed them instead of treating symptoms?

This is brilliant. I practiced law for 30 years. I could not have done this as well as you did. Brand new subscriber, link from CFP. Free sub to start but I’m sure I’ll become paid soon. It’s funny. I have maintained for at least 40 years that the FBI is unconstitutional and that 99% of Title 18 is as well. Most of my former law colleagues just don’t want to hear it (even though they know I’m correct). I have no doubt I’ll be referring to some of your examples in the future. No worries, attribution will be done.
